    Vintage European Hand Painted
    Floral Set of 7 pcs – Compote & 6 – 9″ Plates
    Includes:
    1 Compote / Pedestal Bowl 8 1/2″ diameter / 2 1/2″ tall
    6 – 9″ plates – each with different painted florals
    This set did come out of Europe to us. Some of the pieces do show firing marks where the piece was set on a stand while being fired like some older pieces used to be.
    2 of the plates do have some crazing
    The set is gold trimmed of which some of the gold has some rubbed areas
    The beading look that surrounds the red band close to the edges can be felt and are part of the painting.
    Each of the 6 plates have the number “1984”. I do not think this is a date, but that of a design number for the set. The pedestal bowl does not show any marks.
    All pieces have scalloped edges.
    One plate does have a small chip on the base on the bottom of the plate.
    A great looking set.
